Making tax time less taxing

Ogilvy PR was challenged by Intuit Quickbooks to help it appeal to both small businesses and tax advisors. For small businesses the goal was to highlight the benefits of completing tax time activities early. For advisors, we needed to show how there are tools available to help them at their busiest time of year.

 
 
 
 
 

We developed a full integrated campaign entitled Making Tax Time Less Taxing. We used social content to show the functional and emotional benefits of Quickbooks – aiming to give our audience a sense of calm and relief. Our earned media approach gave Intuit Country Manager, Lars Leber a platform to share advice and recommendations for small business owners for tax time.  

For our advisor community, we secured a paid partnership with trade outlet Accountants Daily to launch a whitepaper aimed at supporting our financial advisor communities through using research to highlight their value to their client base. ​ 

The Making Tax Time Less Taxing content series has been Intuit QuickBook’s most successful to date – exceeding any other content ever shared through owned channels locally. ​ 

Other highlights included more than 350,000 Podcast Streaming impressions, national radio reach of 65,000 listeners per day, 2,205 competition entries and over 8,000 landing page visits. ​
