Ogilvy PR takes home the PR Campaign of the Year at the MCV Pacific Awards

2nd June 2017:  Another night, another awards ceremony as Ogilvy Public Relations is recognised for their viral Xbox Onesie campaign!

The Xbox@Ogilvy team made their way to Sydney’s ivy Ballroom for the fifth annual MCV Pacific Awards last night.

The event recongisies local work in the gaming industry by a total of sixteen awards presented across agency, retail, sales, marketing, PR, accessories, distribution and publishing.

Taking home the award for PR Campaign of the Year for Xbox Onesie, was the Xbox-branded loungewear designed specifically with gaming and streaming video in mind that excited gamers not only around Australia, but around the world. The campaign went viral and turned the Xbox Onesie into a must-have fashion item!

The award is judged on engagement with consumers, campaign coverage, campaign reach, innovative strategies, PR lead activations and product awareness generated.
