Howorth TeamWe have kicked off 2010 with a host of new talent joining the company whose diverse backgrounds are set to complement a range of teams across the business.

We have two starters, fresh off the boat, coming all the way from tech agencies in London. Account Managers, Ellie Shaddick and Georgina Bonner, have left their London lifestyles to set up home in Sydney and draw on their experiences working for telecoms, B2B and corporate clients including BlackBerry, T-Mobile, Business Objects and Rentokil Initial to create successful and innovative campaigns for their APAC clients.

Our newest senior account manager, Le Tran comes from a b2b/tech agency background and is looking to increasingly focus on corporate PR. Having rapidly settled into Howorth, Le is currently taking a four-week sabbatical to do some humanitarian work in an orphanage, cancer hospital and women’s shelter in Vietnam.

After five years working as a high school English teacher, senior consultant, Lauren Sewell sought a more creative outlet for her energies and looked to PR to satisfy her want. Drawing on her experience in the education sector, Lauren is a most valuable addition to the Microsoft Citizenship team.

Alice Ridgway is another new face at Howorth, with over three years’ PR experience, across the B2B and consumer technology space, Alice will be working with the Intel and Microsoft teams. Alice has previously worked on technology and digital media clients including Fairfax Digital, 3Com, Tipping Point and Parrot, as well as consumer clients such as Pet Food Manufacture Hills Pet Nutrition. Most recently Alice worked for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) as a writer during the 2009 Earth Hour – Vote Earth campaign, gaining valuable experience in executing a global PR campaign with a strong social media focus.
