Last week, we announced the first round winners, of the second cycle of our employee recognition program, The Trumpets. The Trumpets is our formal employee recognition program launched in May last year, which recognises values-based behaviours across the whole business. Our company culture is built on the three core Values – Partnership, Learn & Grow and One Step Ahead.

A big congratulations to Carla Dovgan and Alice Coulthard, our first round winners.

Carla Dovgan, Pulse Communications – nominated by Emma Koubayssi

In one month Carla has stepped up and managed the execution of two key client events and secured amazing results for both. Carla worked endless hours, with many late nights in the office and at home and in addition, Carla was seconded to the client’s office for three days a week to support. Throughout Carla demonstrated tenacity, dedication and enthusiasm, navigating very challenging client requests and continuously having a smile on her face.

Alice Coulthard, Pulse Communications – nominated by Amanda Shannahan

I would like to nominate Alice for a Trumpet award for her incredible dedication and leadership on one of the biggest launch events for our client in 2012. The event quickly expanded to not only include Australian media but also media from five other countries in APA. As the event expanded, so did the timeframe and level of responsibility for the program. She did a sterling job and was instrumental in receiving a glowing note of thanks from the client. Thanks to Alice for a job very well done.

The winners were announced in an alternate all team meeting, where the executive leadership team hosted a BBQ to say thank you for all of the hard work. It was a great afternoon on the Ogilvy House rooftop, on a 30°+ day. Take a look at our Facebook page for photos.
